Warranty

RevoZport produces quality, durable and reliable composite products, they are strong and light but brittle on surface finishing. We warrant that our products are fit for use apart from minor bodywork preparation which may be required, depending on various situations and product types. We undertake to rectify any fitment problems with our products, should such problems arise, within 14 days of delivery. As such we recommend that once received, the product, please check for any package damage and then follow by installation test fit. Should there be any problem with fitment, please take many pictures of the defective area (zoom-out pictures of the product including the car or area that it fits onto and zoom-in pictures of the actual problem) and fill in the “Warranty Claim Form” and send to our Customer Service department via email cs@revozport.com. All claims must be filed within 30 days of delivery and once filed, a representative will get back to you with a file reference number so you can track the claim.

Warranty Exclusions

Return shipping charges, towing charges, rental car fees damage to a component or assembly due to the installation of replacement parts with specifications that differ in any material respect from the original vehicle manufacturer’s or RevoZport parts, damage resulting from the unauthorized modification of a RevoZport part or assembly, damage resulting from the use of other manufacturer’s products in conjunction with RevoZport products or systems, damage attributable to negligence, improper installation, improper treatment or treatment contrary to the instructions in the owner’s manual from the original vehicle manufacturer or RevoZport’s product instructions, damage to a RevoZport component as a result of a collision or improper collision damage repairs, any vehicle operated in any competitive event, custom-designed competition parts, damages resulting from loss of time, inconvenience or loss of the use of the vehicle, damage resulting from environmental influences, flood, accident, fire damage, or road salt corrosion, re-manufactured or refurbished products or components (these products are clearly identified as re-furbished and are warranted for the period specified for that particular product).

Minor Repair Work

The surface finishing is normally coated by UV-protected lacquer or gelcoat to protect from fade reaction to the resin. However, as weather conditions may vary, the lifespan of the fade reaction also varies. To maintain the high gloss finishing, we suggest customer regularly polish the surface and in the event of a minor scratch, it can normally be sanded down by a fine abrasive paper and polished to bring back the shine. For matt finishing products, it is advised not to apply any polishing agent or buffing as it will damage the surface and it cannot be repaired.

Unlike plastic injection products (mostly used on original; parts), composite products are made to be strong and stiff. Therefore, fitment of the products may be differ from the original plastic product. For products like bumper, hood, trunk, doors, door sills that are made of FRP, it is normal that a surface finishing preparation work is required before applying any paint, it is also advised to post-cure the product for best effect.

Track/Racing Only Products

Due to the nature of the intended use, RevoZport Products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship only. These products are not warranted against wear and/or failure under any circumstances. These products do not fall under the standard Product Warranty. Racing-only parts may also affect your manufacturer warranty and emissions warranty.

Ans: Should a RevoZport product require repair whether from a Warranty aspect or customer damage, an evaluation is required to assess the scope of repair work. The first thing we suggest our customer should do is to take pictures of the actual problem and write a detailed note regarding the damage or repair required. Once our customer service representative has received the information, we will be in touch with you right way.

We would prefer that you send the item using a shipping method that will provide you with a tracking number, and require a signature upon delivery. Please make sure that the shipping is prepaid and the package is insured for full replacement value. Please enclose a short note that includes your name, email, phone number, and include a street address or a place where someone will be available to sign for a package, since we return items by courier or sometimes freight forwarder, the recipient or consignee information is required.

Please mark the areas in question on the product with masking tape and provide as much detailed information as you can to help us identify the problem in question.

Ans: Our normal turnaround time is about two to three weeks, usually less. During peak season our turnaround time can stretch to four to six weeks. If this turnaround time becomes a problem for you, tell us. We can sometimes “rush” repairs through for special situations. Just let us know.

Ans: You can track your package with your shipper to determine if and when it has been delivered. Once we have received your RevoZport pack in the Customer Service Department, we will send out a postcard & email that will let you know the status of your repair.
